If anyone deserves it, it's the Arajuno Foundation. You're doing everything right to strengthen local pride, involving your visitors in meaningful projects that improve community health and livelihood. You are definitely on top of the conservation front. Your "great wall of bamboo" is very innovative! And, collaboration with the Peace Corps, well that's a natural for you! Sustainable ecotourism to a T. Congrats Tom on your 501(c)(3) status. If anyone deserves it, it’s the Arajuno Foundation. I especially enjoyed visiting the Santa Barbera village and hiking through the primary rainforest. Seeing how others live, work and play was very interesting. Also, getting to play volleyball was a real bonus to me. The spider city and cebo trees in the rainforest were spectacular. Your ecological efforts are very commendable. The information you shared about the area, people and plants was very enlightening. I appreciate all of your efforts, and would highly recommend anyone wanting an adventure to stay at the Arajuno Jungle Lodge. Thanks, Joy Tom,

No, that is not what I wanted to say at all. Thanks for an astounding, and ever evolving trip with the photo group. Your personality, and knowledge of the region, and its inhabitants, was most enlightening, and enjoyable. The boat rides, up and down the Arajuno were kind of harrowing, especially with the high powered camera equipment, but everyone pulled through, with only the slightest hint of water vapor. It was a marvelous adventure! One request: Don't EVER run out of wine!! Saludos, Mike Tom,

Hope you like it. I'm setting in a hotel room over here in West Memphis, (check my blog for details and )and thought I'd check your blog. I guess it just shows my age, but I'm still impressed that we can more or less hold conversations with others no matter where we (or they) are in the world. I'll be checking it frequently for updates. When I get down there, I'll show you how to do photos and such. D.H. Tom:
